Long time no see

Well, it's been a while, hasn't it? As I sit here soothing my first (and hopefully only) sunburn of the year, I've just uploaded a few batches of photos to Facebook, and realized some of them are snowscapes! Since the last update, D and I have done a lot:

We've been to France.

We've been to the Netherlands.

We've spent time with new friends, and made plans for old friends and family to visit.
We've been busy at work
And busy at play

With the wonderful weather we've been having here lately, all of the cafes have put out their sidewalk tables. Today we enjoyed some sun with our lunch in a garden courtyard in the middle of the city. It was beautiful! Oh, and if you visit here, you should really meet the waiter there. It's an Italian restaurant in Germany, and he speaks Spanish to everyone. Sometimes it's a blend of German and Spanish, but it's always funny.
